Voices of MomsLeague: Nira Shah, Founder of Little Fingers

As part of our Voices of MomsLeague series, we're thrilled to feature Nira Shah, the founder of Little Fingers, a brand that's redefining the snacking landscape for kids. A mother of twins, Nira's journey is a testament to the power of purpose-driven entrepreneurship. From struggling to find healthy snacks for her children to building a brand that's synonymous with clean, wholesome goodness, Nira's story is an inspiration to all. Here's what she had to share with us.

MLG: Tell us about the story behind Little Fingers.
Neera: Little Fingers was born out of necessity. As a parent of twins, I struggled to find clean, wholesome snacks for them. Most options were packed with refined sugar, excessive salt, and artificial preservatives. So, I decided to create a product that met my standards - healthy, delicious, and made from 100% clean, traditional ingredients.

MLG: What were some of the biggest challenges you faced?

Neera: Changing consumer mindsets, higher production costs, and brand awareness were some of the key hurdles. As a woman entrepreneur in a male-dominated industry, breaking barriers was tough. We also faced challenges in distribution, scalability, and maintaining quality at scale.

MLG: What kept you going?

Neera: My purpose and passion for helping families make better nutrition choices kept me driven. Every grateful parent and child enjoying our snacks reminded me that I'm solving a real problem. My family, community, and vision for a nutritionally literate generation inspire me every day.

MLG: What's your advice to start-ups?

Neera: Start before you feel ready. Stay driven by passion, but make smart decisions. Believe in your vision, build a strong support system, and treat challenges as learning opportunities. Most importantly, stay persistent - the ones who succeed are those who never quit.

Momsleague Global extends its warm wishes to Neera for a successful journey in creating a nutritionally literate generation.
